Duncan Revolta – Managing Partner
I’m the founder of One Pension Consultancy and have worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years.
I started my career with a national financial advisory firm that specialised in delivering pensions advice to companies. I held several senior roles in my capacity as Director before leaving to establish One Pension Consultancy in 2004.
I’m an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a holder of the Diploma in Financial Planning. I’ve also served as an examiner for the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Director of a national trade body for Independent Financial Advisers.
I currently specialise in investment and the ‘at retirement’ space, helping individuals manage their wealth to ensure a financially healthy future. I also act as a pension trustee, with a particular interest in investment strategy.
Away from taking care of the business and our clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my two young grandchildren. When I’m not chasing after them, I like to follow Chelsea and have been a season ticket holder for more than 30 years.
Sarah Walker – Partner
I started out in the financial services industry in 1992, working for a number of large consultancy companies and rising to the position of Senior Consultant. I became a Partner at One Pension Consultancy in 2005, helping establish our new Reading office.
My particular areas of expertise are defined benefit pension schemes/trusteeship, workplace pensions and auto-enrolment, mergers and acquisitions and TUPE issues
I’m very pragmatic and able to explain complex technical issues to clients in a clear and easy-to-understand way. That’s a quality that really sets us apart from other consultancies.
I enjoy travel and a wide range of activities including skiing, jet skiing, climbing, walking and pilates – none of which is as demanding as looking after one teenager and a border terrier.
Sarah Munro – Partner
My career in pensions began in 1994 and within a year I was dealing with corporate pensions and employee benefits. In 2005 I became a partner at One Pension Consultancy and established our office in Reading.
My main areas of expertise are in group risk and defined contribution pensions/auto-enrolment. Great communication is a real point of difference at One Pension Consultancy and I lead from the front on this. I write most of our digital and printed material and know how important it is for employers and employees to fully understand their options and make the right decisions.
Expert guidance on really complex issues is crucial and that’s when my problem-solving and interpretation skills come to the fore. I also make sure that every implication and possibility is fully understood by the client. Nothing beats seeing a plan come together smoothly and efficiently, which is why I organise and project manage with meticulous attention to detail.
Out of work I love travel, spending time with my family and getting out into the great outdoors, whether it’s walking, hiking, climbing or kayaking. I also do voluntary work organising local social events and fund raising in my local community.
John Masson – Senior Consultant
I’ve worked in the pensions industry since 1987, racking up eight years at a pension provider, another eight at a national IFA and seven years with an international/multi-national Employee Benefits Consultancy. I joined One Pension Consultancy in January 2011.
I also ran my own business for five years, giving me a real insight into what it’s like dealing with a wide range of employee issues.
I’m One Pension’s technical reference point on all occupational pension matters. I have an in-depth knowledge of pension legislation that I use to meet the specific needs of each and every client. Clarity is my watchword. I’m able to see through complexity, work out a solution and explain everything in plain English.
Job satisfaction for me is using my technical knowledge to the absolute benefit of our clients – and adding real value to their businesses.
Out of work, I’ve often got my head in a book – usually the kids’ homework – and enjoy camping, running and going to the cinema.
Stephanie Windsor – Chartered Financial Planner
I have more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, starting out in captives and group risk before broadening my expertise within the corporate pensions arena. I joined One Pension Consultancy in November 2013.
I pride myself on being a good communicator. I’m a good listener and able to explain complex issues, such as employee benefit solutions that are aligned to business objectives, in a clear, easy-to-understand way.
I enjoy meeting new clients and building long-term business relationships. Most of all, I love coming up with client solutions that do the absolute best for both the employer and employee.
In my spare time I enjoy running and yoga, and find true happiness when I’m pottering in the garden or travelling somewhere new.
